Muğla Sıtkı Koçman Uiversity men’s basketball team has got the first place in their group in 2nd league competitions. Our American Football team Muğla Vikings has made us proud by defeating Pamukkale University team. With the championships of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Men's Handball Team and Volleyball teams, our University has achieved great success in all sports branches.

The finals and semi-finals of Turkish University Sports, Men’s Basketball 2nd League matches were held in MSKU Sports Hall. Isparta Applied Sciences University, Uşak University, Izmir High Technology Institution and Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University took place in group A. Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University, Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University and Dokuz Eylül University took place in Group B.

In the semifinal and final matches Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University came third by defeating İzmir High Technology Institution 67-58. In the final match Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University took the first place by defeating İzmir Dokuz Eylül University 77-69.

After the basketball team who achieved the first place in their team, the good news came from the American football team who defeated Pamukkale University team Horozlar with a score of 27-0. The chain of success continued with the score of Men’s Handball team winning over Doğu Akdeniz 27-24 and becoming champion. Our university is proud to achieve great results in different branches in a row.
