Our University Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Çiçek met our students at Atatürk Cultural Center.
Rector-student meetings, the first of which was held in March 2020, were suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The participation of the students in the meeting, which was held for the second time this year, was intense. Students from different departments, programs and communities of our University participated in the event, where our students had the opportunity to convey their problems, suggestions, thoughts and demands directly to our Rector.
Our University Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Çiçek stated that they continue their studies in line with the slogan "MSKU Turkey's Future" and said that he believes the students who will graduate from our University will build Turkey's future.
Rector Çiçek, emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary work once again, said that with the containers to be established near the Mavi Roof Student Societies Center, they will increase the number and function of the places where students will have the opportunity to work and produce together; however, he underlined that the students should focus on “interdisciplinary” studies here.
Noting all the problems, suggestions and requests of the students during the event, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Çiçek has mobilized the relevant units for the implementation of the necessary studies as soon as possible.
In the event, which took place in a very friendly atmosphere, the students expressed the problems they faced, as well as their satisfaction with the University's facilities and the student-centered work of our Rector. At the end of the event, our Rector had a souvenir photo taken with the students.
