Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University continues to progress steadily towards its main goal of becoming an “R&D University”.

Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, which is a university that its students are “proud of being a student” with its academic staff, student-focused approaches, improvements in social and cultural areas, added a new one to its success in TÜBİTAK projects.

Within the scope of “2209-A: University Students Research Projects Support Program” and “2209-B: Industrial Research Projects Support Program”, 28 new student projects were found successful to receive support by TÜBİTAK.

Of the prestigious student projects of TÜBİTAK,  with the 8 student projects in the 1st Call Period of 2019 and 28 student projects in the 2nd Call Period of 2019, our university has achieved a great success with an increase of approximately 3.5 times with the acceptance of student projects.

Our university aims at advancing our students not only in the fields of education, but also in the fields of research and development. In addition to social, cultural and artistic activities at our university, the projects produced by our students in the scientific and technological fields continue to grow, both in number and success. Based on the evaluations made in the light of the data, it is understood that our university will progress by strengthening its position in the top ranks this year and in the coming years and will continue with a higher speed.
