7 academics from Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University were included in the list of "The World's Most Influential Scientists" prepared by Stanford University.
Under the coordination of Stanford University, the "Most Influential Scientists" list has been published, the result of the work carried out by researchers from the USA and the Netherlands with the support of the academic publishing organization Elsevier.
The list, which includes scientists in the top 2 percent of the world in 22 main sciences and 176 sub-disciplines, was created by calculating various scientific criteria.
The ranking is made using international criteria such as the number of qualified publications, the impact of the journal in which the publications are located, the number of patents, the number of citations, the h-index, the hm-index, the number of articles, the number of cited articles and the impact of the journal in which they are published. It was listed in two categories as “Impact”.
