Our Physical Education and Sports Teaching Program Has Broken New Ground in Turkey As a result of the studies conducted in the scope of “Increasing the Graduate Attributions by Improving Education and Training Processes” with Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University 2021-2025 Strategic Plan, Physical Education and Sports Teaching Program of Faculty of Sport Sciences has managed to go through quality processes and become accredited by EDPAD for 3 years.
With this success, our department has become the first and only program to become accredited among the Physical Education and Sports Teaching Programs in Turkey.
Stating that he considers the accreditation processes are very important in terms of official registration of the quality of the education of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, our University Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Çiçek said: “Accreditation is very important in terms of higher education institutions to guarantee and improve the high quality all the time. We give the best support to our Faculty of Sport Sciences as well as other faculties. As a result of these hard works, I believe that we will take our place among research universities in near future. I thank to those who contributed.”
Rector, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Çiçek reminded that various faculties in our University have become accredited recently and emphasized that the accreditation culture will be more common in upcoming processes.
