'Yamaç Park', which was built on the area opposite Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Faculty of Sports Sciences, was opened with a ceremony.
The idle area opposite the Faculty of Sports Sciences has been transformed into a facility where various activities can be carried out in 2022. In the area open to all MSKU staff and students, students will be able to see both practical and theoretical courses.
After the Ay Işığı Square opposite the Faculty of Engineering, an opening ceremony was held for Yamaç Park, which was included in the MSKU structure.
Speaking at the opening, Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Çiçek said, "Yamaç Park is designed as a multi-purpose sports area that all our University students can use. Since the day we took office, we have dreamed of a sustainable and livable place where our students and staff will want to spend time, feel safe with a sense of belonging and where nature meets science. The quality of life of our campuses is high; we have worked hard to make it a center of attraction rich in social and cultural activities. With our environmentally and human-friendly approach, we have prioritized sustainability in all our campuses. We have ensured the development of our university in the infrastructure and physical field. This area will further enrich our eco-friendly campus."
