As our Rector Dr. Hüseyin Çiçek stated in his “Achievements and Goals” presentation, Inova Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Technology Transfer Office Inc. opened with a ceremony.
Muğla AK Party Deputy Yelda Erol Gökcan, Muğla CHP Deputy Suat Özcan, Rector of our University. Prof.Dr. Hüseyin Çiçek, Deputy Governor Mehmet Suphi Olcay, Vice Rectors and Consultants, academic and administrative staff and representatives of non-governmental organizations attended to the ceremory held in Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Research Laboratories Center (ALM).
The opening program started with the presentation of TTO co-founder Prof. Dr. Selcuk Akturk; In his speech he introduced the structure of Inova Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Technology Transfer Office Inc. and its importance for Muğla and for our country. He also emphasized that they wanted to leave a mark on the future with the dynamics of the city. He said "Innovative ideas that do not have the opportunity to come to life are as valuable as a lost homeland".
After the presentation, the Rector of our University. Prof.Dr. Hüseyin Çiçek underlined the importance of innovative ideas and added that “Due to the global use of technology as the most important sanction tool, domestic technologies are considered as the most important indicator of national power in today's world. In this context, Inova Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Technology Transfer Office Inc. will function as a multifunctional center that allows the efficient and rapid commercialization of academic research results. I can easily express that the formation that we opened today with private sector, researchers and entrepreneurs, investors and industrialists will be vital to provide the necessary connections. For this reason, we are not opening an ordinary organization today, we are starting to put into operation the technology base that will assume the role of national value for our country”
Following the speeches, the program ended with the opening ribbon cut and the tour of the Inova Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Technology Transfer Office.
