Bodrum Maritime Vocational School has returned from The Bodrum Cup, which is one of the exceptional races in the world and the biggest in Turkey, with trophies.

Hundreds of boats sailed for the 31st The Bodrum Cup. Transportation Services Yachting Department of Bodrum Maritime Vocational School made a big impact on the biggest maritime festival in the Mediterranean.

To represent our university, the head of Bodrum Maritime Vocational School Professor Tuncay Kuleli, lecturer captain Mehmet Özgür Yenilmez and 21 students participated the race with STS Bodrum, which is the first and the only sail boat to be owned by a school.

In the fourth year of their participation Bodrum Maritime Vocational School has continued their success as in previous years.

After a five day regatta, in General Gullets Classification our successful team came third and in Gullets Classification A, which is their own classification, they came second. In total they have won two cups.
