By Köyceğiz Vocational School; "Calm City" A cycling event was organized in Köyceğiz in order to draw attention to healthy life and promote bicycle use.

In the past process, by our Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Çiçek; 30 bicycles were given to our colleges in Köyceğiz in order to promote and encourage the use of bicycles for our students. In order to spread the use of these bicycles and spread the event; a bicycle tour was held with all participants within the boundaries of Köyceğiz district. After the tour, breakfast was served to the participants by Köyceğiz Municipality.

In the event; Köyceğiz District Governor, Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Çiçek and Köyceğiz School Director Hatice Ulusoy phd. talked about the effect of bicycle use on healthy life.

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Çiçek in his speech; He underlined that the use of bicycles is not an ordinary habit. Rector Çiçek; in the continuation of his speech; “The habit of cycling has many contributions to the protection of the ecological system, healthy life and the national economy. Within the scope of the “Green Campus” activities, which we have been accelerating for a while, we wish to extend the use of bicycles not only to our students but to all our staff. In this sense, our activity today is a sign of a wave spreading from our central campus to the districts. We will be the best example of a healthier and non-destructive way of life with our schools all around Muğla. ”
