During the actualization of these principles there are several actors on the platform including Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Thus, the main aim of the CirThink Project is to embed CE thinking in HEIs through university and industry partnership. The main reason behind this design is in the literature various studies have examined how universities can support sustainable development through formal learning outcomes. Also these studies have highlighted how student-led change from formal learning, sustainability in campus operations, and branding the green university or green campus were key factors for embedding sustainability in education. However few studies have focused on the “hidden curriculum” and the role that universities, as part of the local economy, can assume in implementing the sustainability practices they teach.The hidden curriculum is defined as the difference between the actual learning and the curriculum-based learning in the personal student experience within an educational facility. In this project, it is aimed to show how universities can play a key role in helping to promote circular economy approaches by engaging their students and being a key partner with both public and private organisations. Besides how human resources development outside of the curriculum will be important for circular economy approaches in industry, will be explored in partner countries. Based on a needs analysis carried out by the International Council for Coaching Excellence (ICCE, 2016) and the academic literature on sports coaching (Lyle, 2002 Cushion Lyle,2017), the design of effective programmes for the future should see field experts from National Governing Bodies (NGBs), sports associations and clubs, join forces with sportscoaching academics. Furthermore, experts have suggested that, in the constructivist vein, learners themselves are the key to developing relevant educational programmes, curriculaand syllabi.A joint partnership of four Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) will therefore be partnering with NGBs and prospective learners to design, develop and obtain accreditation for four level6 units on Sports Coaching. The project brings together the University of Southern Denmark, Reykjavik University, Mugla Sitki Kocman University, and the Malta College of Arts,Science and Technology as lead partner. We will also be involving the International Council for Coaching Excellence (ICCE) in the quality assurance of the units developed in line withthe ICCE’xxs Standards for Higher Education Bachelor Coaching Degree Programmes.. Konu: The phenomenon of unemployment among young people has emerged in the European Union, with different incidence in the different member states. But in general, the unemployment rate in the population aged 20 to 29 years is higher than the unemployment rate in the total population. In Portugal, unemployed people under the age of 30 represented in 2018, 15 of the total unemployed, with 5 being the percentage of those who were 25 years old or less. In addition to these cases are young people who have completed their education and are looking for their first job. According to Eurostat, the unemployed population between 20 and 29 years old with post-secondary education represented more than twice the average of the EU-27 in three member states that are part of the consortium for this project (Italy, Spain and Turkey, being 13.0 the rate seen in Portugal in the same age group A relevant group in this field is made up of young people with higher education. One of the reasons that has been pointed out for this phenomenon is related to a gap between the training received and the needs of employers, so this project aims to contribute to a reduction of youth unemployment through specially developed training, corresponding to the needs of companies in the region. . Given that the issue of youth unemployment is transversal in the EU member states, this project can be developed by the consortium partners, with the same objectives and using the same methodology. The TSEMY project involves innovation as it assumes a different answer to the existing problem of unemployment. On the one hand, this new methodology leads to the production of training content that meets the needs of employers and on the other, training is a mix of training in the workplace and mentoring through a digital platform. Finally, the fact that it is tailor-made training accompanied by a motivational strategy for trainees and employers will lead to sustainable action that can be replicated in other work contexts and other member states.. Konu: In Italy, despite official attempts for the creation of regular paths starting from TVETs (in Italy ITS) and continuing with a third year and a bachelor’s degree, this connection is notsystematized yet. Only few TVETs assign ECTSs for their modules, making it difficult for Universities to recognize their exams and therefore forcing TVET graduates wishing tocontinue their studies to start their Bachelor’s degree from the beginning, discouraging them as it entails a huge quantity of additional time. Only specific agreements between TVETsand universities allow this recognition, which, anyway, is often incomplete, requiring some integrations. JAC, LLEIDA, IVIC are among the TVETs that have activated agreements withUniversities to recognize ECTS and enable students to complete their studies obtaining a Bachelor’s or a Master’s with an additional 1-3 years of study. This system has proved to bevery effective and needs to be adopted on a larger geographical scale to become ordinary practice in the medium term and – hopefully – officially systematized with dedicated policiesin the longer term.MAIN AIM:To establish a strategic and structured cooperation between European and non-European Universities and TVETs delivering technical higher education creating a network for thedevelopment of joint international courses and able to constitute – in the medium term –a European University.. Konu: Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are of paramount importance to dominate the economies in terms of not only numbers, but also to make akey contribution to employment and value added for both - the European Union (EU) and the partner states. Since 2008, a series of measures have beenadopted, which are intended to improve the framework conditions for SMEs. Several of these measures aim at the Euro zone or need to be implementedon a national or regional level. From the EU Commission’s perspective, one of the important fields of action is to strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit inSMEs via improving new mentoring skills for SMEs.Both EU Commission researches on SMEs and the business administration literature indicate that the solid experience of the SMEs are not sufficient toproduce a digital competency framework and skill card in SMEs. In parallel with these findings, the previous EU projects conducted by MSKU (HARBIFand as partner organisation in 5POINTS) proved that SMEs are not able to tackle the new management tools and they are not aware of their capacity andcapability for change to enable them to compete on local, domestic and later on global markets on their own. Or in other words, in order to change theirskills in the digital era, the SMEs need a different eye, which reveals their own capacity. The He-Men Project, as it appears in the ”cartoon”, solves theproblems for his society by having its power in the name of greyskull, will provide a privilege to develop unique mentoring skills and exchange goodpractices among SMEs in order to remind them - “They Have the Power”.In addition to this, the He-Men project will aim to develop digital mentoring skills of SME mentors by spreading a reverse mentoring approach. On theone hand, the He-Men project will bridge generational gaps between older and younger employees in SMEs, on the other hand it will spur innovation andnew product and service ideas by more actively soliciting input and advice from younger workers in the digital transformation era.. At present many ofour adults – especially in deprived areas aspire to local, low paid jobs – and have not beenencouraged to think more broadly, nationally, internationally or interculturally. The EuropeanCommission has adopted the proposal for a new Recommendation on Key Competences for Lifelonglearning in 2018. According to the report, competence requirements have changed with morebusinesses being subject to automation, technologies playing a bigger role in all areas of work andlife, and entrepreneurial activities. Personal, social and civic competences becoming more relevant inorder to ensure resilience and ability to adapt to change.Europe needs to develop adults’ individual ‘soft skills’ and collective intercultural competences.Recognising that each individual is unique – with strengths and abilities that should shape theiraspirations and build their confidence. Good self-awareness is the beginning of emotional intelligence– the ability to understand what drives (and frustrates) us and how we differ from others. The European Education Area that the EU is also helping to build, aim to strength educationaloutcomes and learning mobility, promote common values.EU strategies and efforts relating to international education in ET 2020, especially based on mobility andeducation system (eg.bologna process and ECTS system) and administrative system (eg.european studentcard).In consideration of increasing number of international students in Europe, AcHopInt contributes to thesocial, cultural and academic achievement needs of international students. The AcHopInt project isspecifically developed for providing academic hospitality in higher education institutions and try to fill thegap in this area. 10-) Proje Durum: Tamamlandı. Projedeki Görev: Araştırmacı. Konu: Food consumption continuously increases as population grows. Then, it seems a big problem to obtain sustainability as a dimension of sustainable growth. Sustainability in consumption of foods can be provided by both efficient use of natural resources and consumers’ increasing consciousness. However, it is difficult to suggest the existence of an accurate mechanism to educate consumers. It is obvious that there is a lack of education on sustainable consumption of foods both in national level and in European level. Therefore, with this project it is aimed at developing an education system for adults to provide sustainable consumption of foods. In order to develop such a system, an accurate measurement tool, a detailed needs analysis and educational activities are required.Project consists three stages. The first stage targets developing a valid, comprehensive and inter-cultural index to measure the sustainable consumption of foods. To do that, a needs analysis will be done and an index (SCOFI) will be developed after an extensive research, that includes getting the opinions of experts in the field and reviewing the previous studies. Then, the index will be organized in a manner that provides inter-cultural usability by having validity and reliability studies.In the second stage of the project, sustainable food consumption behaviours of adults in the partner countries will be analysed with the help of SCOFI developed in the first stage. Relating with social and demographic variables, consumer clusters will be developed. Every cluster will be defined in detail and their educational needs will be determined. Also the subject will gain a broader perspective with the competence map provided at partner countries level.In the third stage of the project, preparation of training materials and their distribution to the target groups is the main part. Printed resources like books, brochures, etc. and digital educational tools such as videos and mobile application will be designed at this stage. With the help of various multiplier events, seminars / webinars, short-term joint staff events and social media tools, these materials will be available to more than 9,000 individuals and more than 50 relevant organizations. At the same time, these training activities will be more extensively effective in the public with the created role models and digital tools. As a further result, this indirect effect is also expected to spread over others with whom more than 50 organizations that the training materials will be available have relationships. Additionally, this project, which is specifically designed for adults’ education, is expected to guide also the next generation consumers, who will be grown by the trainees. Konu: In consideration of the increased complexity of modern education, training and learning systems, the project contributes to the promotion of eco-innovative business model training programs to become a sustainable part of hospitality business and employability. This necessity for improvement of transparency and recognition of qualifications for both ecological and innovative circular economy development is answered through the development of the learning outcomes based on the training system. The main aim of the project is to implement the innovative VET system for workplace basic skills with eco-innovative business sustainability awareness in hospitality industry in line with the current shift of the EU labour market towards smart and innovative jobs. The program foresees to improve the quality of training of professionals in Eco-innovative Business Management through flexible, transferable innovative learning outcomes and design of learning pathways for shifting to competence-based training.The results of a preliminary needs analysis through the European Commission’xxs web-site, the following issues have been identified: • the current education on offer in the field of Eco-innovative business understanding and management in Europe is insufficient --consequently, there is a strong educational need in this area• the introduction of common European standards is a necessity for business to choose to operate on a more comparable ecological level, which can be applied across all industries in order to achieve a better consensus to operate in a eco-innovative way• in order to reach beyond current industry standards necessitates training for Eco-innovative Business Managers.With reference to the European priority “Encouragement of cooperation between VET and the world of work,” this project will provide an excellent example of how to improve environmental and innovative issues that come up in day-to-day business or at the academic level. This will serve as the protection of the environment via using innovative business solutions in the hospitality field. The supplement of competences in hospitality field will also supply the mobility of the workers in Europe more easily.The main objective of the present project is the identification of framework conditions regarding Eco-innovative Business Model (in particular meaning of terms, scope of activities required training, set of competences, use of on-line training tools, app and digital game) in partner countries to combine existing good practices to develop a standard practice to be used for a methodology for training and certification. The results of training will give the Eco-innovative Business Manager an overview of his role in the hospitality industry, be able to identify ecological and innovative issues to be tackled be aware when/where to update own knowledge base.. Konu: According to the Cybersecurity Strategy of the European Union, to promote cyber resilience in the EU, both public authorities and the private sector must develop capabilities and cooperate effectively securing networks and information systems in the EU is essential to keep the online economy running and to ensure prosperity. The use of new technologies brings new opportunities for enhanced business performance and operations, but also introduces several information security and privacy risks. Addressing these risks plays a significant role in business success and development nowadays, as growing security threats may potentially disrupt business continuity and cause monetary, reputational and other types of losses to SMEs. It is important to determine and mitigate risk to an acceptable level and maintain risk level for an integrated cyber risk management, which is connected in particular with cyber information security for SMEs. The organizations are required to assess the threats and opportunities, which affect their information systems, and the developments in current information technologies, publishing and creating of business information via internet. Also social media tools being a part of basic marketing strategies of SMEs make them generally more fragile against cybercrimes and attacks.Since cyber risk management and assessment are considered as backbones of a secure IT environment, the REDCYBERSG project aims to improve cybersecurity management skills of SMEs by filling gaps in SMEs in partner countries and to provide a comprehensive guide for integrating best practices into their procedures in order to mitigate cyber risks. This is achieved by focusing on such direct target groups as VET teachers and trainers, SME managers and employees and other stakeholder organisations related to the SME sector, which can make use of the developed intellectual outputs respectively by educating students (future employees, as SMEs represent 99 of all businesses in the EU), training employees or, in case of stakeholder organisations, by sustaining and disseminating information regarding the education and training solutions.The REDCYBERSG project will develop training materials accessed via an e-learning platform, which enables SME enterprises to take cyber risks into account and deploy their cybersecurity activities into the risk management processes of the organization taking into account the international standards, and making an assessment of this model on the basis of cross-regional and multi-cultural business domains.
