An opening ceremony was held for Muğla Technopark, which was established with the vision of being a center of attraction for R&D and innovation activities.
At the ceremony held with the participation of the Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, the contributions of Teknopark, where Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University (MSKU) is one of the biggest stakeholders, to our province, region and country were mentioned.
The program also introduced 26 projects implemented with the support of GEKA with a total investment amount of over 30 million TL.
Minister Mustafa Varank, stating that Muğla Technopark will serve as a locomotive in terms of our city being a center of attraction in R&D and innovation; He noted that the projects carried out under the leadership of institutions and organizations from the public, academia and private sectors will make a great contribution to our development. In his speech, Varank said:
"Muğla Technopark will serve as a locomotive in terms of our province being a center of attraction in R&D and innovation. Currently, with 26 companies and an occupancy rate of 86 percent, it gives us great hope for the future. With this momentum, Muğla will increase its capabilities in the industry and add strength to its economy."
After the opening, the Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank and the accompanying protocol members visited Muğla Technopark and received information about the activities.
