The School of Foreign Languages is the central support service for foreign language education. The objectives and responsibilities of the school include:

Running the Foreign Language Preparation Programme for the foundation year students

Developing new techniques and methods for foreign language instruction in Turkey

Organizing general or purpose-designed language courses for students, personnel, and public

Cooperating with national or international establishments for the purpose of holding meetings and seminars on foreign language education

Producing publications on language education
